PULSE Services

At The PULSE Institute our mission is to promote People Using Language Skills Effectively. We believe that empowering people to resolve their own differences is the means to a productive environment and sustainable relationships. This vision of empowerment through effective communication underlies all our activities, which include:
  • Training and Organizational Development
  • Coaching
  • Workplace Assessment and Consulting Services
Expanding horizons...
At PULSE we like to say we are “creating world peace one conversation at a time”. We have set a goal to provide 1000 students each year with learning related to the PULSE frame by 2008. In 2006 we became truly “International” through courses taught in Europe and Africa, and the responses we’ve had from these venues seem to indicate we will be doing more international events. International experience has taught us more about the dynamics of inter-cultural conflict.
Limiting the cost of workplace conflict...
We believe that training management to be effective third-party intervenors, and training employees to recognize and address conflict early through understanding of the definitions and effect of harassment and diversity, will reduce workplace conflict. Conflict in the workplace has many hidden costs, including the results of poor decision making due to job stress, and restructuring due to high employee turnover. At PULSE, we like to believe that we will work ourselves out of a job through effective training and capacity building.
Reducing employee turnover through capacity building...
Effective practices and policies will build the capacity of employees to contribute to a productive workplace and result in greater job satisfaction and reduced employee turnover. We can help you develop effective policies through our diversity training programs.
